About BaxterFilm
Baxterfilm Funny Features are funny short videos I made in iMovie of my friends while they visited me in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There are two series: "Visiting the Mall of America" and "The Sculpture Gardens." In "Visiting the Mall of America" we filmed in various stores finding what we could to be funny. In "The Sculpture Gardens" we toured Minneapolis's famed Sculpture Gardens full of artists' sculptures and tried to capture our versions of what they meant. None of it was scripted. I just turned on the cam and my friends did the rest. I hope you enjoy!
*One technical note: When I first started making these back in the early 2000's I was just learning how to use iMovie and video compression. It was a lot of trial and error to get these small enough without compromising the quality. I tried compressing them with all different codecs and what you see is the result. Unfortunately for me they didn't have h.264 (mp4, m4v, etc) back then AND the masters were accidentally destroyed!! So all I have left is what you see. They may not be the best quality but they're still fun!
